Explore, Learn, and Grow with EcoRangers:
Nature's Classroom Awaits

At Eco Rangers, we embrace the transformative potential of the natural world to enhance children's education and well-being. Our drop-off enrichment program allows children to hike and learn on local trails in small groups, ensuring each child receives a personalized and engaging experience. With a focus on fostering curiosity and environmental awareness, our curriculum blends exploration with hands-on educational enrichment.

Some of our favorite trails include the scenic Tecolote Canyon, where kids learn about native plant species, Mission Trails Visitor Center Loop, ideal for studying local geology, and the Fortuna Mountain Trail, offering insights into San Diego’s diverse ecosystems. Each hike is designed to spark curiosity, build critical thinking, and nurture a lasting connection with nature.

These sessions are more than just a break from the traditional classroom—they’re a gateway to adventure, discovery, and a deeper respect for the environment.

Our Trail Schedule 2024 -2025

Welcome to our 2024-2025 Eco Rangers hiking schedule, where we bring outdoor learning to life across San Diego’s diverse landscapes. Each month, we explore a selection of trails throughout the county, introducing young explorers to the unique ecological and historical significance of each location. By dedicating time to each trail, we aim to deepen our explorers' understanding and appreciation of the local environment while fostering a lasting connection with nature. Join us as we hike, learn, and discover San Diego’s natural wonders together!

To support educational access and integration, we are accepting charter funds from renowned institutions such as Pacific Coast Academy, Freedom Academy, and Sage Oak. This initiative helps us to make our programs more accessible to all students, promoting inclusivity and a deep-rooted connection to nature.

Join us for a season of discovery as we navigate through the stunning natural beauty of San Diego, one trail at a time. Each session is designed not just to explore, but to educate and inspire, fostering a deeper connection with the outdoors and encouraging a lifelong passion for conservation. Sign up now and be part of a community that cherishes the great outdoors and values comprehensive environmental education.
